Cortijo Lujar

The house has a lovely sweeping lit drive way through the olive trees, passing the pool house to the parking area, where you will find the Cortijo. The entrance to the sun terrace is picturesque and shaded via a sun break, which sooths sun light during those hot summer months. 

   

The property consists of a large open style kitchen diner with lounge. Ideal for the enthusiast who loves to cook and socialise with their guest / family. Kitchen consists of cooker, fridge freezer, kettle, microwave, toaster and all supplementary items of crockery etc....

    

The lounge is equipped with comfy sofa that can expand into a large double bed for the unplanned guest to stay over and for the winter evenings there is an open fire to relax the evening away. The room has a TV, DVD cinema system than can cater for MP3 disks, so please dont forget to bring along your favourite music and films for your own entertainment. Accompanied with the system is an Ipod, docking station for the music lovers out there. Just recently added is Satellite Freeview system, catering for languages and interests.  

The bathroom can be located off the dining area where you will find standard facilities. The bathroom has toilet, bidet, wash basin and large family bath complete with shower and washing machine.

                                                                           

During the evenings the sun sets behind the mountain giving a lovely warm environment to relax in.

This area is lit and has a food preparation surface next to the barbeque.

The Cortijo has two large bedrooms, one double and one twin which incorporates a single pull out bed, creating another twin. The master bedroom has a built in wardrobe with his and hers storage spaces, complete with a lit alcove in the middle and a lockable safe. All linen will be provided except for beach towels and towels for the pool.

      

The pool terrace has fantastic views of Sierra Lujar and has a variety of sun lounge's to relax on, for the guest who doesn't enjoy too much heat then they can relax under the canopy of the swing or the Gazebo where they can absorb the family's activities in the pool. Please ensure that all children remain supervised at all times.

The pool itself is 5.5 meters long by 5.0 meters wide and has stepped access at the front, the shallow end is 1.5 meters and this gradients to 1.8 meters at the deepest point. At night the pool can be illuminated ready for that evening swim. During the hot summer days you can take shade under the Gazebo, the design commissioned by an up and coming designer and was christened by her as "Anne's Bar" in May 2009.

      

Please refrain from feeding Flipper as he is fed by the owner...
